Another King win tonight. Playoffs are supposedly 99.2% certain according to some websites. They are looking good finally. Patience has paid off.
So Far, So Good
After tonight’s win, the Kings have 26 points in 21 games. That is on a pace to score 100 points for the season. If they continue this way, we could be playoff bound.
Kings Beat Desert Dogs
Kings went on a short road trip to Phoenix. A strong game and a win later they are on the plane back to LA. Tomorrow, the Kings take on the Blue Jackets, who beat the Ducks tonight. Overall, a good night for me.
Loss to CBJ
Another game, another loss. The strange thing about this road trip is a win tomorrow at Dallas and the Kings have a 3-3 road trip. At the beginning, this would have been considered pretty good. After the first two wins, people became to optimistic.

Lost 4-2 to the Rangers and 5-2 to the Red Wings. Damn. 4-3 going into Columbus and Dallas. Need to split these last two games at least. Win with OTL better.
Tonight, the Rags
The Kings are going to faceoff against the NY Rangers. Since both teams are riding win streaks (4 and 5 game), this should be a good test of the Kings mettle. I predict a 3-2 SO win for the Kings.
4-1 and On Top of the World
So, the King are finally on top of the NHL world today after finishing off the NYIslanders in an Columbus Day matinee. So far, so good.
Oh Atlanta
So, we are off the Atlanta for the Association for Play Therapy conference. Colin is coming with and we should get some more pictures of him in unusual places. I need to publish some of those.
We are in a holding pattern for the Kings regular season. We are missing a couple of games and will have to catching them on the road. Anyone know where a good hockey bar is in Atlanta?
I’m hoping that we can find the game somewhere.
And So It Begins
Yesterday, we took the day off and went down to the Toyota Sports Center to watch the Kings Rookies and the Coyotes Rookies battle in a game. The Kings won 4-0 (they lost 6-1 the day before). This is a sort pre-pre-season game. Schenn did well, scoring twice, and setting his teammates on a couple of neat passes.
Tuesday is the first game with veterans at the Staples Center. Go Kings!
Penguins Win The Cup!!!!!!
Woo-hoo! The Penguins beat the Red Wings and end up spending the summer with Lord Stanley. Fleury, aka Flower, blocked a shot in the last few seconds to secure the win.
Awesome game to end the season on.
