First, I read with a little surprise that Kodachrome has faded to black. There will be no more Kodachrome processing in the US. See: http://online.wsj.com/article/SB124631829284470853.html
We are back from the humidity hell that was Mississippi. Colin scented for Annette about 3 times a day and was spot on. The most convincing alert was at the hotel when he alert her and we both thought that she was ok. Annette tested and it turned out that she was having a low. Good work, Colin!
I will be putting together a little video of his exploits in the coming days.
Colin provided an alert for Annette today after about 30 minutes of training. Go Colin Go. Here’s a video of a kid in our class who has an alert dog:
I’m in Mephis, Tenn. I’ve been to the Lorraine Motel and Graceland. Two ends of the spectrum. It is so frigging hot and humid here that Annette has melted. Colin is fine so far.
This weekend, Oxford, Mississippi will be the destination for scent dog training for Colin.
Woo-hoo! The Penguins beat the Red Wings and end up spending the summer with Lord Stanley. Fleury, aka Flower, blocked a shot in the last few seconds to secure the win.
Awesome game to end the season on.
Now, how many days until September 26th?
So, the hockey season has come down to one game, 60 minutes, maybe more, of hockey. Go Pens Go!
Here’s to Crosby winning his first Stanley Cup!
Yeah, the Penguins are coming back. Youth seems to be overtaking experience.
