They didn’t look too good tonight but the Canucks are a hard team to play. It is still a long shot but at least the game on Monday will be meaningful.
Tonight, Colin went with me to the convalescence hospital where my dad is a resident. He went into the hospital about a month ago and is not doing well. Colin did lick the face of a 106 year old woman. It made her happy. Nothing makes my dad happy nowadays. Too sad.
Somehow, the Kings are into March and playing meaningful games. 4 points out of a playoff spot. I’m not sure they will make it but it is sure fun to watch.

Another day of rain in Los Angeles. I’m not sure why we are having so many cloudy days but it does make LA seem more like Seattle.
Kings lost again and are slipping away from a playoff spot. They better start playing well.

The Kings are still going strong. 4 wins and an OTL in the last 7 games. One game stolen in Montreal that I was extremely pissed about. It is nice to be pissed about a loss in January. Maybe we can have some important games in April.
The Kings are still having fire sale prices and the Governator is talking about raising the taxes on hockey tickets from 0 to 10.25%. With that tax, I will be watching a lot of games from home.
What do you call it when it is 84 degrees out and it is January 13th? You call it Southern California and love every minute of it if you live here. Windows and doors are open and the birds are singing, the cats are mellow, and the squirrels are happy. This makes the 50 MPH gusts yesterday bearable.

How about that? The Kings are sticking around for the playoff race and current cling lightly to the 8th and final place with 4 other teams. The Kings played an impressive game against San Jose but lost in the SO. Wins against Wild and a few other teams were good. Let’s hope for a win against the Rangers tonight.
